New music, dance, fiction and nonfiction, patterns made of flower petals and colored sand … artists at the Marble House in Dorset are presenting their work on Tuesday nights this summer and fall.
Aug. 9 — ArtSeed presentation with RAWdance, 6 p.m.
Aug. 13 — Farm to table gala dinner, 5:30 p.m.
Aug. 16 — ArtSeed with composer and flutist Zach Sheets, 6 p.m.
Aug. 18 — Culinary workshop: Improvisational cooking, 4:30 p.m.
Aug. 23 — ArtSeed at 6 p.m. with novelist and nonfiction writer Cris Beam, author of “To the End of June: The Intimate Life of American Foster Care” and “Transparent: Love, Family and Living the T with Transgender Teenagers,” and fiction writer Fatima Mirza, a fellow and teacher at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop
Aug. 30 — ArtSeed at 6 p.m. with Dancer and performance artist Coco Karol; Open studios with printmaker and sculptor Kyle Peets, mosaic artist Samantha Holmes and Gowri Savoor, avisual artist who works with environmental sculpture, works on paper and the Indian art of Rangoli
All of these events take place on the grounds of the Marble House Project at 1161 West Road (off Route 30) in Dorset, Vt.
