a series of pre-recorded talks the Clark Art Institute and the CIHA will host virtually on their websites through June 2021. Each month a researcher from Brazil will discuss an aspect of the Brazilian art world, spanning museums, galleries, collectives, alternative circuits, patrimony, and architecture in which they specialize.

This series is part of a pre-congress for the 35th CIHA World Congress: “Motion: Migrations,” to be held in São Paulo in August 2021 (postponed from September 2020 due to COVID-19). This webinar series aims at making the art environments of Brazil more familiar to a wider public.
Claudia Mattos Avolese, University of Campinas, is convening the series in collaboration with the Research and Academic Program of the Clark Art Institute.
