Berkshire Busk — live music downtown

Berkshire Busk brings live music to downtown Great Barrington from the community and beyond on Friday and Saturday nights from July to September.

They also bring live music to the Great Barrington Farmers Market on Saturday mornings, the Lenox Farmers Market on Friday afternoons, and Berkshire Mountain Distillers in Sheffield on Saturday Afternoons from July 1 to – Sept. 2 (rain or shine).

Sheepy and the Hen

Mother and daughter duo from New Orleans playing old time fiddle music (with some Irish, Klezmer and Roma tunes mixed in) on acoustic guitar and violin.

Karen and David

Karen Berger & David Hodge have been bringing music to Southern Berkshires since moving here in 2004 to teach music. Their fun arrangements of popular songs, as well as David’s originals, are sure to bring a smile to your face.

Robin OHerin Blues & Gospel

Robin OHerin is a performing/teaching musician, specializing in traditional Delta bottleneck blues and fingerstyle guitar, ukulele, singing, and songwriting. She was a recent finalist in the solo/duo Capitol Region Blues Challenge on Sept. 11, 2022 at Caffe Lena in Saratoga Springs. Two of her original blues songs have been placed repeatedly on the top 10 list on Broadjam.com. The Road To Prague has held the #1 place twice so far. Robin has toured in Europe and the US for over 15 years, sharing the stage with Paul Geremia, Andy Cohen and Roy Bookbinder, to name a few. Scoil Rince Breifne O Ruairc

Scoil Rince Bréifne Ó Ruairc is an Irish dance school in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Our mission is to inspire the love of Irish dance in everyone we meet. We teach traditional Irish dance classes to students pre-school age through adults, host a traditional Irish fiddling group, perform throughout Berkshire County, and compete in open-platform Irish dance competitions worldwide.

Daymen

Daymen is a singer-songwriter from San Diego, CA., and South Hadley, MA. He plays a mix of originals and covers from throughout the years. He started playing music 22 years ago in Southern California and now makes his rounds in the Western Massachusetts music scene.

Fraser Andras

Fraser Andras is an active composer and guitarist based in New England. He is a versatile musician with a background in classical, metal, rock, folk, and jazz. He has composed music for solo classical guitar, orchestra, chamber ensembles, and music for bands. His compositional style combines elements from his musical background. He received his BM in guitar performance at The Hartt School with a minor in composition and is currently pursuing a dual masters degree in composition and guitar performance at The Longy School of Music of Bard College. He resides in Massachusetts, where he teaches all styles of guitar, performs regularly, and writes new music.

Kung Fu Comedy Magic

Darren’s Kungfu Comedy Magic show will have you laughing with lots of high energy interactive mind boggling magic. His wit and jokes are off the cuff with improv and his skills are unparalled as it has been honed over 15 years of performing. Come be apart of this fun, jaw dropping performance.

The Juckets

The Juckets are a fun bluegrass style band with a large array of music featuring Kevin James Healey. Music that makes you tap your toes and sing along with songs from Woody Guthrie to traditional Bluegrass and John Denver. They bring to you a feel good energy sure to make you smile.

Berkshire Hills Chorus

The Berkshire Hills Chorus is a women’s a cappella group who sing four-part barbershop harmony. For the past 50+ years, we have sung all over Berkshire County including such places as Berkshire Medical Center, the Red Lion Inn, the Berkshire Art Museum, the Linde Center at Tanglewood, the Berkshire Athenaeum, and Tanglewood on Parade to name a few. We sings up-tunes, ballads, showtunes, holiday songs, patriotic songs, and popular music.

Dav!d Reed

A well-traveled songster with a songbag full of Caribe-vibe folkrock and cigar box blues, Dav!d Reed will keep you entertained with his skillful fingerpicked guitars, foot percussion, harmonicas and inspired vocals.

Balloon Ben

Balloon Ben has been twisting and entertaining in Berkshire County and beyond for 11 years. His unique style allows him to meet almost any request. He loves a challenge, so feel free to use your imagination in your requests from this talented Airbender.

Joanne Magdalena

Joanne Bockemuehl Jackson is a passionate flamenco dancer and teacher/artist, choreographer, as well as a costume designer.
She teaches flamenco dance lessons to children and adults at the Berkshire Pulse Studios in Housatonic, Great Barrington, MA. Her classes focus on building confidence through the expressive abilities of flamenco, which instills a sense of passion and individuality. She connects each student with their own personal story to tell and journey to live and guides them to find the expression through movement. She regularly performs is New York City and at the Hudson Valley Flamenco festival.

The Decoys

The Decoys Acoustic Trio play a fun mix of pop-rock (classic and modern) with an Americana twist.

Lia Pearl

Lia practices aerial silks, an acrobatic art form that combines feats of strength and flexibility with creative choreography-all while suspended high above the ground.
