Berkshire Busk — live music downtown

Berkshire Busk brings live music to downtown Great Barrington from the community and beyond on Friday and Saturday nights from July to September.

They also bring live music to the Great Barrington Farmers Market on Saturday mornings, the Lenox Farmers Market on Friday afternoons, and Berkshire Mountain Distillers in Sheffield on Saturday Afternoons from July 1 to – Sept. 2 (rain or shine).

Daring Coyotes

David Clark Carroll writes songs deeply rooted in bluegrass, inspired by his years living in the Sierra Nevada on his album Odyssey of the Far West, released in 2021 upon his move home to New England.

Jasperoo

Jasperoo perform acoustic instrumental music from old time to modern originals. They play guitar (6 and 12 string) and banjo (4 and 5 string). If the tunes aren’t familiar, they’ll soon be old friends.

Mike Pagnani

Mike Pagnani is performer, instructor, and scholar of traditional music. Apart from leading Pub Sings and playing with the bluegrass fusion band Beer Stained Fiddle, he performs solo as a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Mike has been teaching traditional and other music to kids and adults of in New York’s Hudson valley for over a decade through individual lessons, group classes, and educational performances. He also researches and writes about traditional and other music as well as recording and producing through his own small production company.

Karen and David

Karen Berger & David Hodge have been bringing music to Southern Berkshires since moving here in 2004 to teach music. Their fun arrangements of popular songs, as well as David’s originals, are sure to bring a smile to your face.

The Bubble Guy

The Bubble Guy blows big beautiful bubbles.

Dav!d Reed
A well-traveled songster with a songbag full of Caribe-vibe folkrock and cigar box blues, Dav!d Reed will keep you entertained with his skillful fingerpicked guitars, foot percussion, harmonicas and inspired vocals.

Main Stage, Saturday night — August 5, 6:30 to 10 p.m.

Firetown Road

Firetown Road is a Simsbury, Connecticut-based band that writes, produces, and performs original Americana and alt country music.

The Haughties

The Haughties are a vibrant 7-piece reggae band of seasoned Berkshire players. They honor deep reggae classics by bands like The Maytals and The Jamaicans. Their performances are electric, rich with vocal harmonies and contagious grooves that get everyone dancing. The Haughties have appeared at The Egremont Barn, Race Brook Lodge, at weddings and pool parties.

Daymen

Daymen is a singer-songwriter from San Diego, CA., and South Hadley, MA. He plays a mix of originals and covers from throughout the years. He started playing music 22 years ago in Southern California and now makes his rounds in the Western Massachusetts music scene.

Willy Welch

Willy Welch has been a pro singer/songwriter since age fifteen, and is perhaps best-known for his composition “Right Field,” recorded by Peter Paul & Mary, among dozens of others. He is also an actor and has been in many plays & musicals.

Mad Max and the Hootchie Cootchie Gal

Mad Max and the Hootchie Cootchie Gal is an acoustic guitar and bass duo performing Blues/Roots standards

Aimee Van Dyne

Folk-Americana singer-songwriter Aimee Van Dyne’s songs have been played on over 100 radio stations and have received awards from the John Lennon Songwriting Contest and the International Acoustic Music Awards. They are characterized by strong melodies, catchy hooks, and symphonic harmonies.

Timbalanced

Timbalanced is a variety performer hailing from the hometown of P.T. Barnum. Hats will flip, cans will flop, and beanbags will fly as he displays his fun and creative juggling skills.
