Berkshire Busk — live music downtown

Berkshire Busk brings live music to downtown Great Barrington from the community and beyond on Friday and Saturday nights from July to September.

They also bring live music to the Great Barrington Farmers Market on Saturday mornings, the Lenox Farmers Market on Friday afternoons, and Berkshire Mountain Distillers in Sheffield on Saturday Afternoons from July 1 to – Sept. 2 (rain or shine).

Secrets of French Girls

Dark faerie-tale songs on accordion, musical saw and acoustic guitar. Ryder & Dennis offer a playful fusion of macabre, funny, quirky, circusy and whimsical story-songs that will make you laugh, cry and wonder why.

Mike Pagnani

Mike Pagnani is performer, instructor, and scholar of traditional music. Apart from leading Pub Sings and playing with the bluegrass fusion band Beer Stained Fiddle, he performs solo as a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Mike has been teaching traditional and other music to kids and adults of in New York’s Hudson valley for over a decade through individual lessons, group classes, and educational performances. He also researches and writes about traditional and other music as well as recording and producing through his own small production company.

Jeffrey Kirn

Jeffrey Kirn is an ambient guitarist and composer of symphonic electronic and film music from Kingston, NY. You can find his work under the artist name Isotherme at iTunes, Spotify and Amazon Music.

Alakazam

Alakazam performs spectacular circus stunts in a unique and fresh way. His one-man variety shows have spanned over 26 years and racked up 25 international street theater awards. Al’s mission is to spread laughter and positivity with other humans, and he has done so in such venues as International Festivals, Television, Ted Talks, and private events for the Rich and Famous.

Roger & Lenny

Roger & Lenny bring a fresh perspective to familiar–and not so familiar–tunes from a golden era of pop music, with harmonies the likes of the Everly Brothers, Simon & Garfunkel, and the Jayhawks.

Ol Ms. Money Bags

Ms. Money Bags is the grandma you never knew you wanted. Clown, acrobat, and street performer, she’ll flip your perspective upside down.

Pocket Merchant

Pocket Merchant is a jazz-fusion group based in the Hudson Valley. Their music is an eclectic mix of original compositions with groove-based melodies and rhythms.

Marysia

Marysia does a one-woman circus danger show- knife juggling, precarious balances and feats of strength all wrapped in original comedy with a healthy dose of audience participation! It’s an all-ages show designed to awe and inspire people of all ages, leaving audiences talking about what they’ve seen for years to come.

She has been performing circus professionally for more than 15 years — more than 100 street shows and 10 years of living statue performance all over the world. (marysiakochac.com)

Chalk Gremlin Circus

The Chalk Gremlin Circus is made up of 3 local circus artists who have found each other over the years and love performing together. They work in solo, duo, and even trio air and ground acts!

Joanne Magdalena

“Joanne Bockemuehl Jackson is a passionate flamenco dancer and teacher/artist, choreographer, as well as a costume designer.
She teaches flamenco dance lessons to children and adults at the Berkshire Pulse Studios in Housatonic, Great Barrington, MA. Her classes focus on building confidence through the expressive abilities of flamenco, which instills a sense of passion and individuality. She connects each student with their own personal story to tell and journey to live and guides them to find the expression through movement. She regularly performs is New York City and at the Hudson Vallley Flamenco festival.”
