Berkshire Busk brings performers from the Berkshires, Boston and New York and far beyond to the streets of Great Barrington. Musicians and songwriters, mimes and acrobats and many more will perform through downtown.

The town is supporting this effort to improve economic development, build community and create a new and vibrant cultural experience, beginning with a festival in the summer of 2021. Performances will continue on Friday and Saturday nights from from 6 to 8:30 p.m. through September 4.

July 24 lineup

A.J. Kohlhepp — A Berkshire-based singer-songwriter who fits somewhere within the Americana framework, his influences run the gamut from Guy Clark to Green Day, from Aimee Mann to Amy Winehouse.

Darian Kaulahao — Juggler and circus artist

FKA Muddytooth — Playing guitar with reverb from the City of Quartz, his performance feels like a montage from a road trip film.

Harry & Karen — An improvisational musical duo, they infuse high vibrational cover tunes born of troubadours and retro-bands to create connective experiences that heal the soul and share love through music.

Helen Hummel — A singer/songwriter from the green mountains of Vermont, Helen reflects the rural landscape of her upbringing in her music and explores many styles. She fills out the limits of her vocal range, accompanying herself on guitar.

I Got Written Up — Anoush designs and weasr paper dresses that people are invited to write on. The idea is to bring life and motion to a once inanimate object, giving it a voice and story of its own.

Lindy — “Music from the heart”

Lucky Bucket — Six musicians and singers play a variety of music, drawing from rock, country, rockabilly and Oldies with their own particular spin.

Patrick J Toole — Patrick plays acoustic delta style blues, American working class folk, and gospel. Acoustic guitar, foot tambourine, slide and voice. Simple.

The Berkshire Bateria — The Bateria brings Street Samba Drumming, rhythms from Brazil! Based in Great Barrington. The performers have played all over New England, Colorado, Las Vegas, and New York City, since 1994. They perform on traditional instruments from Brazil, and the audience members will have a chance to join the fun, as extra instruments and instruction will be available. Come experience The Joy of Samba!

The Midnight Anthem — A singer/songwriter trio brings their unique take on country inspired music, with influences of rock, folk, & pop sounds, to stages across New England. Every setlist is tailored to suit the location’s vibe, featuring a mix of original music and cover songs.
