Berkshire Busk @ Great Barrington Farmers Market

Berkshire Busk brings live music to the Great Barrington Farmers Market, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday mornings.

They also bring live music to downtown Great Barrington, from the community and beyond, on Friday and Saturday nights from July to September — and to the Lenox Farmers Market on Friday afternoons, and Berkshire Mountain Distillers in Sheffield on Saturday Afternoons from July 1 to – Sept. 2 (rain or shine).

July 1 — Natalie Lewis
Natalie Lewis is a student musician who plays soft rock from the 1960s and 1970s on acoustic guitar.

July 8 — Michael Aaron

Inspired by music icons from past decades, Aaron projects a familiar, but new sound, while bringing back the lyrical tellings of the classic American singer-songwriter. He is originally from Long Island, NY, but currently resides in the Berkshires.

July 15 — Michael Junkins

Michael Junkins is a jazz guitarist and active performer throughout the Berkshires. In addition to his performances with Berkshire Busk!, you can hear him at the Lion’s Den every Sunday with “Michael Junkins and friends”, as well as many other venues throughout the area. July 22 — Roger & Lenny

Roger & Lenny bring a fresh perspective to familiar and not so familiar tunes from a golden era of pop music, with harmonies the likes of the Everly Brothers, Simon & Garfunkel and the Jayhawks.

July 29 — Kevin James Healey

Kevin James Healey was born in Middleboro Massachusetts and grew up in the neighboring town of Lakeville. He began his musical journey at the age of 8 years old by starting trumpet lessons. At the age of 10 he started playing guitar and organ. By high school he also played baritone and trombone and saxophone. He remembers “always being involved with a musical organization.”

During his college years he played guitar and saxophone with numerous rock bands in the Boston area. He joined the Air Force and played music throughout his military career. Later, living in Colorado, he was known for his singer/song writer solo act and also playing with some of the top bands in The Rocky Mountain region and Las Vegas.

“Writing songs has always been my first true love” he said in an interview with the Rocky Mountain Post after writing and recording the CD release “Crooked Lane”. “I was honored to play with some of the top musicians in the country during those recording session.” He lives in Western Mass.

August — Lee Rogers

Lee Rogers plays the songs of the 1960s and 1970s and his own arrangements of popular folk artists including Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger and many others.

August 12 — Michael Junkins

Michael Junkins is a jazz guitarist and active performer throughout the Berkshires. In addition to his performances with Berkshire Busk!, you can hear him at the Lion’s Den every Sunday with “Michael Junkins and friends”, as well as many other venues throughout the area.

August 19 — Katherine Winston

Katherine Winston is a Singer/Songwriter from Massachusetts. Inspired by the likes of Stevie Nicks, Kacey Musgraves, and Brandi Carlile, she will pull you right in with her honest, relatable lyrics and her emotional, powerful voice.

August 26 — sherry
Ambient improvisational instrumentals sometimes on a double-neck ukulele or dulcimer or on a digital piano.

September 2 — Dav!d Reed

A well-traveled songster with a songbag full of Caribe-vibe folkrock and cigar box blues, Dav!d Reed will keep you entertained with his skillful fingerpicked guitars, foot percussion, harmonicas and inspired vocals.
