Interactive silkscreen print demo

Gary Lichtenstein and Melissa Marr are hosting a free, interactive print demo at Gary Lichtenstein Editions — a publisher and printer of fine art silkscreen on the first floor of building #13 at Mass MoCA.

Over the course of his 45-year career, Gary Lichtenstein has produced a wide range of silkscreen editions and multiples with artists including Cey Adams, Charlie Ahearn, Doug Argue, Janette Beckman, Roz Chast, Richard Corman, Bill Blast, Michael De Feo, Jane Dickson, Danielle Frankenthal, Mako Fujimura, Joanne Greenbaum… Yigal Ozeri, Tommy the Animator and Nola Zirin. He has printed for industry legends including Marina Abramovic, Karl Benjamin, Robert Cottingham, Robert Indiana and Ken Price.

Lichtenstein’s prints have been exhibited and collected by, among others, The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, New York’s Museum of Modern Art, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Smithsonian, the San Francisco Art Institute, the Chicago Art Institute, the Butler Institute of American Art, the College of Art & Architecture at the University of Tennessee, the Boca Raton Museum of Art, the Silvermine Arts Center and the International Print Center NYC.

Along with custom screenprinting services, GLE frequently curates exhibitions, produces events and cultivates site-specific projects and educational programs.

GLE routinely partners with non-profit organizations to design captivating fundraising initiatives that support mission statements and engage new audiences. Collaborating with artists from the studio’s roster and beyond, GLE creates solutions that communicate brand identity, promote visibility and expand awareness.
