Following their explosive midnight set during Solid Sound 2019, Clipping — Hamilton’s Daveed Diggs, William Hutson, and Jonathan Snipes — will return to MASS MoCA (in spirit) for a night of music in the galleries.

The LA-based experimental hip-hop trio dives into its archive to create a darkly atmospheric gallery soundtrack with material from an abandoned audiobook score for the novella The Deep, one chapter of which premiered at Mass MoCA at Solid Sound.

Mass MoCA’s new series Auditory After Hours gives visitors a chance to engage with art while listening to an experience curated by well-known musicians. Tickets and timeslots are limited, and you’ll need to bring headphones and a smartphone to listen in.

Ticketholders will get a link by email that will let the music to begin streaming, and it will go on until 9:15 p.m. Gallery admission is rolling, and guests can show up anytime within 30 minutes of their timed ticket. Get tickets »
