Fall canoe trip on the Housatonic
October 3 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Paddle through farms and forest with an eye to the sky for migrating raptors as you wind your way down the Housatonic River with Alison Dixon of the Housatonic Valley Association. The trip will cover about three miles of paddling in two and a half hours, in a loop, and families with children 10 years and older are welcome. Canoes, paddles and PFD’s are provided, or you can bring your own canoe or kayak. The trip is free.
You will need to register ahead by calling 413-298-7024 or writing to email@example.com, and you will get
directions and information then.
