‘ranney’ and Kevin Craig West appear in Hymn by Lolita Chakrabarti, a soulful new play filled with music that asks what it takes to be a good father, brother or son, directed by Regge Life.
Two men meet at a funeral. One knew the person who has died, and one did not. Benny is a loner with a wife and children, while Gil longs to fulfill his potential. They form a deep bond, but cracks appear as they begin to realize that true courage comes in different forms.

Bernstein Theatre (most Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 3 p.m. and most Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. — but check the date you want to come, because times can vary.) For indoor live performances, you will need to show a form of ID proof of vaccination or proof of a negative Covid test taken within the last 48 hours. (You can also submit proof electronically.)
