The Incredible Naumkeag Pumpkin Show is back at Naumkeag this year with more pumpkins, more fun and an expanded schedule. Visitors can explore the gardens as Naumkeag transforms into a celebration of autumn with more than 1,500 jack-o-lanterns, hundreds of mums, pumpkins and countless gourds – most of them grown right here at Naumkeag. Hot cider and fall treats will be available for sale on-site.
The festival runs Wednesday to Sunday from September 30 to october 29. Regular tickets give access between 5 and 8 p.m., and you choose your entry time when you get your ticket. Remember that the light will change as the sun sets, so if you want to see the pumpkins lit up in full dark, you may want to come later on.
You will need to get timed tickets ahead of time to save your space, (one ticket per person). Naumkeag will not be selling tickets on site, and the ticket time represents your arrival window.
Pumpkins hang in trees like lanterns at the Naumkeag Pumpkin Walk.
The general admission ticket will not give parking on site. The property closes at 8:30 p.m., and they will stop entry to the property at 8, to give everyone time to come through. (Friday, October 6, is also reserved for Trustees members.)
Naumkeag adds that given the age of the site and its steep and uneven terrain, Naumkeag is not ADA compliant and is not wheelchair- or stroller-accessible and may be difficult to access for guests with limited mobility.
