Music From Around The World
July 10 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Jazz and Classics for Change return to The Mount for an outdoor concert, as Grammy award-winning jazz trombonist Rafi Malkiel, Grammy-nominated flutist-composer Itai Kriss, bassoonist Gili Sharett, pianist Jack Glottman, and percussionist Franco Pinna perform Music from Around the World.
Jazz and Classics for Change formed in the Spring of 2019 through a collaboration between Gili Melamed-Lev, concert pianist and educator, and Joe Gold, jazz musician and film composer, with the idea of bringing a sense of hope through inspiring music, performed by outstanding musicians.
They offer music for joy and to help illuminate humanity with awareness of the many challenges of a changing world.
