Interweaving ritual and poetry with visual mediums, Micah’s residency in West Stockbridge will seed and grow artworks that imagine liberation for trans and queer people.
In this hour-long offering for folks with any level of experience in authorship, Rosegran and the grou; will tap into memory as a fertile ground for dynamic storytelling. You can also tap into your spirit and body with an optional pre-workshop warm-up of breath meditation and dance at 6:45.
Activating memory as a site for intergenerational healing and justice, Rosegrant also questions how art and knowledge can translate and be accessed via different digital mediums. Their process during their residency will be shared through a variety of digital mediums including videos, livestreams and “fireside chats” with the community.
This residency with Micah reaffirms the Foundry’s mission to present relevant performing and visual art that is accessible for diverse audiences; art that connects, inspires and incites to leap across cultural boundaries
