On Wednesdays at noon, Sondra Loring will lead a yoga workshop. Loring is a long-time yoga teacher, farmer and activist, and also a community builder, dancer and choreographer. As founder of Sadhana Center for Yoga and Meditation in Hudson and Satya Yoga Center in Rhinebeck, she has fostered a thriving yoga community in the Hudson Valley.
On Thursdays at 5:30 p.m., Peggy Wallin Hart will lead a pilates workshop. As a movement educator and director of Spring Inside Pilates, Peggy brings an intimate understanding of the body and a spirit of playful creativity to her work. Her passion for exploring the world through movement has taken her from the stage to the Pilates studio, where for 20 years she has guided students in their own kinesthetic explorations.
On Saturdays at 10 a.m., Jennifer Lawrence leads an aerobics fitness workshop. She is the owner of The Firm Exercise Studio, which she purchased 35 years ago from the original owner. Having taught exercise classes in Chatham for 37 years, she believes exercise should be an enjoyable experience for all that pairs laughter with correct technique and form. Her classes are instructional, and she always aims to provide modifications for those with existing conditions and injuries.
