Sculpture — Rose B. Simpson

Artist Rose B. Simpson and Monique Tyndall, Director of Cultural Affairs for Stockbridge-Munsee community of the Mohican Nation, will talk together at the Williams College Museum of Art about Simpson’s new work, Counterculture.
Counterculture is a monumental public sculpture on view at Field Farm, a 2022 Art and the Landscape commission from The Trustees (land trust). Simpson and Tyndall will talk about the outdoor work and the enduring presence and engagement of the Mohican people on their homelands, and in relationship to this project.
