Burn and Flow Yoga @ Naumkeag

Naumkeag starts Monday morning with a 60-minute class that merges functional strengthening and a creatively-sequenced vinyasa yoga flow.

First up, a short warm-up that will prime all the muscles and joints needed to fuel your workout, Naumkeag says, then the group will dive into a progressive strength-building sequence using your own body weight and resistance bands (provided for you). “You can expect endurance-based functional exercises that get you moving through all ranges of motion. After that, we finish with a vinyasa flow that starts off with high energy and takes you down to a state of total relaxation.”

Classes run weekly through August 28 and will begin at 8:30 a.m., and Naumkeag asks all comers please arrive on time as the front gate will be closed shortly after the class begins. (Bands are provided. Please bring your own mat or towel.)

You will need to sign up ahead, and low enrollment or inclement weather will cancel the event. In case of weather cancellation, they will email on the day, with an opportunity to reschedule or refund.
