Shimmering Flowers: Nancy Lorenz’s Lacquer and Bronze Landscapes

Experience the world of contemporary artist Nancy Lorenz with a gallery tour of the summer exhibit, Shimmering Flowers: Nancy Lorenz's Lacquer and Bronze Landscapes. Led by Berkshire Botanical Garden's art education summer intern, tours meet at the Center House Leonhardt Galleries on Sundays and Thursdays at 1 p.m.

Historic property walk

Enjoy a guided walk on the Norman Rockwell Museum’s 36-acre site and learn about Peter Rockwell’s sculptures, the Mohicans who have lived here for centuries, the museum's view of Monument Mountain, and the historic Linwood house, an 1859 Berkshire Cottage. The walk ends at Norman Rockwell’s Stockbridge Studio.

The Chalet

Mass MoCA serves grill favorites and local brews with live music on Thursday nights from July to October in the museum courtyards along the Hoosic River — a riverside beer garden with local music under the Berkshire stars.

Lion’s Den: Tony Bernardo

Tony Bernardo, a singer-songwriter who also sings the American catalogue of songs will perform in the Lion's Den pub at the Red Lion Inn. Regional musicians perform most nights year-round in the Lion’s Den Pub: Folk, blues, rock and jazz 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

IlyAIMY folk concert

IlyAIMY, three-time winners of the Washington Area Music Association Winners for Best Contemporary Folk Group, will perform at the Egremont Barn. They are known for combining award-winning songwriting, tight harmonies, intricate slap-style guitar work, ukulele and percussion into an eclectically humorous stage show.

Log Lunch: Greg Watson on Equity, Land and Community

A tradition of the Center since 1972, Log Lunches are held on Fridays through the college year at noon at the Log at 78 Spring St. in Williamstown. Each week, Williams students prepare and serve a vegetarian lunch, followed by a talk on an environmental topic. Students and faculty speak, as well as local, national and international organizations.
