Williamstown Farmers Market

Duck egg tacos with hot sausage and greens? Baklava and fresh moussaka? The Williamstown Farmers Market is growing. Farmers, food producers, artists and artisans will gather in the expanded parking lot at the end of Spring Street from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday into October.

Basket weaving workshop

Sandy Salada, a basket maker since 1995, will lead a basket-making workshop at Hancock Shaker Village. Weave a flat-bottomed foot-square basket with low sides, the right size to carry a pie or casserole dish. The basket has an open bottom woven in natural and dyed reed (navy, dark green, red, burgundy or brown) with an oak handle, and a wrapped handle if time allows.

Lenox Apple Squeeze

The 40th annual Lenox Massachusetts Apple Squeeze will bring together close on 150 food vendors, local makers and artisans downtown, with games and entertainment for children, wagon rides around town, a 5k race, Children’s Olympics and much more. The Apple Squeeze is a long-standing tradition in Berkshire County, welcoming the fall.

Hoosac Valley historic train rides

All aboard the Hoosac Valley Line — The Berkshire Scenic Railway offers historic train rides on weekends through September 22 at 1 and 3:30 p.m. Trains run between downtown Adams and North Adams, in a living history exhibit that explores the rich railroad history of the Berkshires.
