Log Lunch with talks on the land

A tradition of the Center since 1972, Log Lunches are held on Fridays through the college year at noon at the Log at 78 Spring St. in Williamstown. Each week, Williams students prepare and serve a vegetarian lunch, followed by a talk on an environmental topic. Students and faculty speak, as well as local, national and international organizations.

Fall planetarium shows at Williams College

Williams College invites the community to travel the skies at the Milham Planetarium, inside the Old Hopkins Observatory. The high-precision Zeiss Skymaster ZKP3/B opto-mechanical planetarium projector will show phenomena from motions of the planets to phases of the moon and more.

In the not-so-distant future, an interracial couple are enjoying a visit from their college-aged son when a young Muslim woman arrives at their back door. She is looking for safe passage on a new Underground Railroad as Muslim Americans are being detained and imprisoned, in the world premiere awardwinning play by Brent Askari.

Emily Mure in concert

Folk singer/songwriter Emily Mure will perform at the Egremont Barn. After three albums of original contemporary folk music, she will release ad Songs and Waltzes this fall, putting her own stamp on material originally performed by Radiohead, The Cranberries, Coldplay, Willie Nelson, Wilco and The Shins.
