Clark Art talk: Earth diplomacy

Clark Art Institute Fellow Jessica Horton will give a talk on 'Earth Diplomacy: Diné Arts of Reciprocity.' From 1966 to 1968, the United States government commissioned Diné (Navajo) artists Bertha and Fred Stevens to demonstrate weaving and sandpainting across Europe, Asia and Latin America.

Tracey Benson, Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte, will give a free talk on the subject of his newly released book, Unconscious Bias in Schools: A Developmental Approach to Exploring Race and Racism. He will speak in Griffin Hall, room 3.

Berkshire musicians gather to perform at an informal open mic at the Egremont Barn — folk, rock, blues, Broadway and more, with live piano accompaniment and high spirits. The pub is open for dinner, with table seating and arm chairs, and a fire in the fireplace on cold nights.
