Housed in a solar powered, reclaimed 1880s mill, Basilica Hudson is a nonprofit multidisciplinary art center holding music festivals, large scale makers’ markets, film screenings, an artist in residency program, a new weekly concert/art series, public art and community gatherings. Most of its programs are free or sliding scale.

Through its programs, Basilica Hudson says, the art center supports the creation and presentation of independent arts and culture and forges experiences honoring “the scale, grit and beauty of its surroundings.” It draws inspiration for its mission and programming from the city’s history, the region’s artistic legacy and environmental advocacy.
