The longtime local theater in downtown Bennington gives a home to resident theater companies, professional and community theater company, in the summer, and all year round.
Bennington Community Theater creates performances with local voices — non-professional theater productions for, by, and with members of the Southern Vermont community — performing two to three shows each season in the spring, fall and winter with local actors, playwrights and more.
Bennington Theater also holds classes and talks and many kinds of performing arts programming, offering a community space for arts and celebration of diversity.
