Rabbi Liz P.G. Hirsch, originally from the Boston area, is ordained by the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in New York. She spent many summers at the URJ Eisner Camp here in the Berkshires as a girl.

Graduating from Brown University with a degree in Environmental Studies, she worked as a Legislative Assistant at the Religious Action Center, the Union for Reform Judaism’s office in Washington, D.C., between college and rabbinical school.

She enjoys playing guitar, yoga and meditation, and hiking all over the Berkshires, and she is married to Rabbi Neil P.G. Hirsch, who serves as one of the rabbis at Hevreh of Southern Berkshires. They live in Lenox with their children.

From Anshe Amunim’s website: “Our goal is to inspire our members to live a meaningful and rich life seeped in Jewish tradition. We celebrate our Jewish lives together, perform acts of Tikkun Olam -repairing the world – and share our love and passion for Judaism with our children. We invite you to get to know us.”
