Rivers and reverence

The Hoosic River Watershed Association and the Clark Art Institute present Rivers and Reverence, an exhibit of photographs by Berkshire photographers exploring many ways the river, its tributaries, and watershed contribute to a sense of home here in the Berkshires.

Cauleen Smith is an internationally acclaimed artist, and she and artists in many of Mass MoCA’s shows this fall are celebrating who they are — even when they feel surrounded by forces that do not. They are challenging history and looking to the future.

Log Lunch with talks on the land

A tradition of the Center since 1972, Log Lunches are held on Fridays through the college year at noon at the Log at 78 Spring St. in Williamstown. Each week, Williams students prepare and serve a vegetarian lunch, followed by a talk on an environmental topic. Students and faculty speak, as well as local, national and international organizations.

Williams Chamber Players

The Williams Chamber Players, a faculty chamber ensemble, will give a free concert in Brooks-Rogers Recital Hall at Williams College, with repertoire from the standard chamber music with special attention to music of the 20th and 21st centuries, and music by Williams composers.
