Trans* artist Namoli Brennet has been writing, recording, touring and releasing albums since the days of dial-up internet. Her music has been called, “An uplifting shot of hope … that queers the sonic landscape.”
A multi-instrumentalist with a degree in composition, Brennet’s decades-long career has seen her morph from more traditional singer/songwriter fare into what one reviewer called a “sonic painter,” creating rich, ambient textures as a backdrop for often profound and poetic lyrics. Namoli has traveled extensively and has performed in most of the continental United States, Canada, Mexico, Austria, Switzerland and Germany.
Her music has been nominated for the German Music Critics award and has been featured on NPR and in the Emmy-award-winning film Out In the Silence. Her latest album, The Poet Tree, was released in December of 2023.
Seating and bar open at 7 p.m., and the show begins at 7:30. This event is indoors.
A note from the Foundry — Parking is limited at the venue so please use the three public parking lots in Town. One is across from the Post Office, one is behind Berkshire Bank and the other is just off Main Street. They are clearly marked. Do not park at Trúc Orient Express Restaurant or the Post Office or you may receive a ticket.
