Scott Eyerly opera talk: Carmen

Composer and librettist Scott Eyerly will offer a free virtual opera talk on the Thursday before the the Metropolitan Opera’s broadcast the following weekend.

Eyerly brings a new perspective on currentworks at the Metropolitan Opera, with his experience as a teacher at The Juilliard School and a range of experiences, his comic opera My Life Online premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe, to his musical comedy Pooch, produced in workshop at Seagle Music Festival. Eyerly’s lively talks are drawing novices and opera buffs alike.
