Log Lunch with talks on the land

A tradition of the Center since 1972, Log Lunches are held on Fridays through the college year at noon at the Log at 78 Spring St. in Williamstown. Each week, Williams students prepare and serve a vegetarian lunch, followed by a talk on an environmental topic. Students and faculty speak, as well as local, national and international organizations.

Clark Art talk: Black Baroque

Curatorial Fellow Adrienne Childs will give a free talk as she works at the Clark Art Institute with Christa Clark to develop an exhibition, Black Baroque: Exuberant Presence in Contemporary Art, that considers black artists who reference the art of the long Baroque period as well as manifest affinities with the baroque.

Fall planetarium shows at Williams College

Williams College invites the community to travel the skies at the Milham Planetarium, inside the Old Hopkins Observatory. The high-precision Zeiss Skymaster ZKP3/B opto-mechanical planetarium projector will show phenomena from motions of the planets to phases of the moon and more.
