Berkshire Natural Resources Council

The Berkshire Natural Resources Council is a countywide land trust and nonprofit caring for trails and open spaces throughout the Berkshires. They take care of more than 12,000 acres where people can walk, hike or snowshoe, birdwatch, relax, stretch your legs with a dog, sometimes fish or paddle …

Their pathways can vary from marsh boardwalks to steep slopes. They hold ponds and waterfalls, easy ambles and pull-offs with long views, and longer treks for days in the country. You can check out the stories here for places I’ve explored in different seasons.
