Andy Wrba, jazz bassist and founder of the Berkshire Jazz Collective, perform live at the Egremont Barn. The Barn offers live music in a tavern atmosphere with a wood fire and comfortable chairs around the stage and a pub menu for dinner.

Andy Wrba is a native of the Berkshires and founder of the berkshire jazz collective in 2012 to showcase the talent and diversity of a multitude of local and regional artists, creating music and projects that supports the berkshires and beyond. andy developed and curated a weekly jazz residency on monday nights at mission in pittsfield which ran from spring 2011 through fall of 2022 featuring over 200 different musicians. monday night jazz was a staple of the berkshire music scene, and a forum for local talent.

Beyond the Berkshires, he was an original member of the band, Barefoot Truth, with several full length albums, eps, live albums, and several national tours, barefoot truth is a symbol of genuine independent music success. Their dedicated and ever-expanding grassroots following, including over 50 million streams on spotify and pandora, has been built one listener at a time.

from 2014-2023, Andy was the music director at the Darrow School in New Lebanon, N.Y., where he developed a student-centered and rich curriculum as he cultivated a reciprocal relationship of musical experiences between the local community and the students at darrow.

He is the program manager for Mill Town Foundation, overseeing community programs and partnerships while continuing to curate and produce events such as tTanglewood in the city, lenox jazz stroll, wandering dance society, and more. Andy can also be found performing professionally as the bandleader for berkshire jazz collective, bassist for Barefoot Truth, and a member of the whiskey treaty roadshow.
