The Crescendo Chorus, their soloists and instrumentalists will perform two concerts of festive old and new holiday music with themes of peace and connection on — and with — the earth. Crescendo will celebrate in the music of birth and of humanity’s home here on earth, at two historic churches, St. Paul’s in Stockbridge (29 Main St.) on December 16 and Trinity in Lakeville, Conn., on December 17.
Ranging from the Renaissance to modern compositions, and spanning both Christian and Jewish traditions, the music will inspire our quest for earth-stewardship, perhaps our best hope for shelter as the cold comes upon us. Our earth holds our faith and peace in its air and water, its hills and valleys. That’s why it’s our best comfort as the days darken.
They will have sone tickets before concert, first come, first served, but they recommend saving your space ahead. A brief reception with the performers will be offered after the December 17 concert at Trinity Church in Lakeville, Conn.
